Daily Inspirations
In October 2020, I started a new daily walking project: I go walking every day for at least 30 minutes, take a photo of whatever catches my eye during the walk, and then post the photo on Instagram @dailywalking2020 and on my website.
When photographing, I usually choose the subject or crop it in such a way that I could practically use the photo one-to-one or as a source of inspiration for an abstract composition. I photograph, so to speak, the future work of art that I could create on the basis of the photo - with some subjects popping up recurrently.

I photograph, so to speak, the future work of art that I could create on the basis of the photo - with some subjects popping up recurrently.
I decided to explore this idea systematically and to use every single Daily Walking photo of 2023 as the basis for a work of art, using the best fitted technique for each of them. Daily Walking becomes Daily Inspirations!
In this project, the focus ultimately lays on the concept (use every Daily Walking photo as a source of inspiration) and the process (determine the most appropriate technique for this and improve my skills in these techniques over time). Therefore, this is a full documentation of the project showing all the works that were made within the project, regardless of their quality.
